Groomsbridge stud offer a range of services to suit everyone to include AI to a wide range of stallions available in the UK/EU.


MARE AI PACKAGES 2010

Our AI packages are one of the most comprehensive and affordable currently available in the United Kingdom.

With Chris Phillips and Andrew McGladdery and there team from Rossdale's we have some of the best stud vets in the country providing the packages, so you can be assured of the highest standards of veterinary care and attention.

The fee for the veterinary schemes will cover all routine gynaecological work including Ultrasound scans, uterine swabs & smears, pre and post breeding treatments including drugs, caslick operations, pregnancy testing up to 25 days and squeezing twins.

We also offer a walk in service to the TB stallion of your choice (subject to mare being accepted by the stallion owner).

ALL VISITING MARES AND STALLIONS WILL NEED TO HAVE CLEAN TESTS FOR CEM,EVA,EIA AND STRANGLES WITHIN 
THE MONTH PRIOR TO ARRIVING ONTO THE STUD.
ALL MARES COMING TO THE STUD TO FOAL MUST HAVE EHV VACCINATIONS AT 5,7 AND 9 MONTHS GESTATION   
 

                                                       

Grass keep

Barren/maiden mare £9.00 per day
Mares with foal at foot £11.00 per day
To include a short feed if required at no extra cost.
Full livery only for mares due to foal

Stabled Keep

Barren/maiden mare £13.00 per day
In foal/foal at foot/foaling down mares £17.00 per day
To include all feed,hay etc.
Foaling fee £250


Worming and any farrier work will be charged on top.

Grass keep will only be available as weather permits .


                                                        STALLION SERVICES 2010

We have spaces available for stallions to come and board here at Groomsbridge stud for the duration of the stud season at a cost of £25 per day.

Walk in collections also available.

Other services include:
Dummy training and semen collection training and fertility investigations.
Semen freezing and storage service.
